2020 Medical Expedition Season Commences

The Medical Expedition season kicked off for the Wild Medic Project with a clinical team moving into three villages in Helambu where they worked collaboratively with their Nepali counterparts. The team set up pop up clinics and facilitated health assessments and provide essential care for a range of conditions.

The three villages, Kakani, Chaiju and Kapa Danda saw nearly 400 presentations with a variety of conditions such as gastrointestinal reflux and associated abdominal pain, chronic pain and arthritis, infected injuries, visual impairments and dental concerns. The next team into Nepal will be in February and March
